ABSTRACTION

In the early 2000’s Henry’s work was influenced with the onset of digital photography, long exposures, digital processes and exploring the relationship between photography and painting. Canvases were “painted” with long exposure photography in order to assimilate painting on canvas. The result was a hybrid of beautiful abstract images with brushstrokes that would be near impossible to actually paint if done by hand.
